I know i'm setting myself up... but has anyone ever had a prolonged period of eye spasims, twitching... I've been dealing with it for 3 weeks now. I have good vision and no need for glasses. I spend probably 50-60 hours a week in front of the computer. Anyone else go through this?

eat bananas...

had that a while back, eventually went away... might be too much iron or something like that... I used to get it when I was drinking a lot of protein shakes and such

I think the computer has destroyed my ability to change focus-- for instance, when I go outside most days everything beyond ten feet is blurry, although this is not always the case. I've had my eyes checked and apparently don't need glasses.

Yeah i get those too, Eat a Banana or two or three
"Muscle spasms, tremors, tetany, irregular heartbeats and muscle weakness are partly caused by increased nerve excitability associated with an inadequate intake of potassium. Carrots, spinach, celery and BANANAS are rich in potassium."

In every 15 minutes, look away from the screen for a few seconds. Just look around the room or close your eyes.
I read this tip at some poster at the office once, something about computer hazards, which also listed ways to prevent carpo-syndrome something something, etc.

The 15 minute deal is true.
But after too many years of not doing it I had to get glasses.Try to have a porn running at the end of the room, so that you're almost forced to watch elsewhere besides at your monitor. Porn might save your eyes.

shit! I thought it was only me...
Thats mad!
I actually sort of enjoy the mad eye twitch on occasion though...
Gunna try the bananas thing though, and you can never get enough porn so maybe I'll leave those Jun Kusanagi mpg's running on an old monitor. lol
