Win iTunes Question

  1. Download mp3 to Desktop
  2. Drag it to 'Library' in iTunes
  3. Delete desktop mp3
  4. Try to play in iTunes and its gone

  It seems when you do this you only get a shortcut to your file in iTunes. Can I have iTunes copy the file to where my other mp3s are ie. on another partition ?

  just put all your music in your My Music folder.

  instead of dragging them in, put them exactly where you want them the just import them in.
