I'm thinking of maing a cd rom catalog...but what is the best way to make a cd rom??? I never made one...I would appreciate guidelines and help.

you'll need wood, nails, sticky back plastic and some used washing up liquid bottles.

Seriously Skylark - I´m not sure I understood the Q. Do you mean how you´re gonna make it (Director/Flash ...?) or where you´re gonna have it made?

Well..I dont know what to make it in....I guess thats what I need help with....I been thinking of flash, but I dont know if thats the way to go?

depends on what you want to do with that cdrom

make your 'promo' thing, make it so's it's full-screen using cool screen.width properties and such, make it a projector, get that autorun.ini file thingy, burn it and you set.
i've done it before, it's rather easy. just make the 'promo' cool, make sure to have techno music.

it will be a promo thing...so yes, I would like it to open fullscreen, have a autorun ect...so if I do it as a website, is there a autorun that open up the browser they have?

no. it will run as a projector, the Flash player is embedded in the file, you save that root file as a projector and you can access SWF files just like a site. you build it just like a site.

this way, the person puts the CD in, and it goes all by itself, no messing with browsers and BS, it's pretty slick.

make the flash an exe - make it fullscreen but not scale using fscommand, and then do this:
