hi peeps!
I'm working on an project for an agency wanting me to develop a new "graphic language" for the company based on their current identity. It's done on a freelance basis...but i wouldn't know how much time to allocate for this particular project
basically what they want is that I design the "look" in the "look-and-feel"..the "feel" is already there
can you maybe help me out by giving some of your standard time estimates on likewise projects?
Thanks!

R, Welcome to Newstoday.
I feel your question is a bit too ambiguous. Maybe you could expand on exactly what you'll be creating and delivering to your client. Is it a full identity system?

Thanks for the welcome..
Allright, this company is actually a well established brand identity agency, but they feel they lack a "personality". What they want me to do is come up with a range of abstract graphics to adhere to their identity.
Think in terms of a set of graphic icons or symbols that has a strong reference to the logo but who work as images alone as well, so that in the future people will associate those graphics immediately to the company.

I had a similar project where myself and my AD developed 6 divisional logos for a Marketing company. Took us about 215 hours including research, client meetings/presentations and a simple style guide.
