I have had an airport card fitted in my G4 titanium laptop.
I am running OSX Jaguar.
The house where I live has wireless broadband.
Should it connect up as simple as that or do I need to put in numbers etc??
When the machine searches for a signal - it says no signal can be found.
The PC is constantly online but my mac cant get online
Any ideas??
Also are there instructions how to get it working available on line??
Cheers
Karlo

I have both a wireless laptop PC and a wirless laptop G4... I find that my G4's reception sucks compared to my PC. you should make sure you are witin range of the signal.

I am sat at the side of the PC where the router is!!
Should it work automatically or do I need to configure??

our wireless router has 4 ethernet ports on it... but only accept 4 conccurrent connections, so if someone is wireless one must not be in use. just a thought.
check the admin section of the router too.

Is the PC connected wirelessly? Do you know the name of the network?
Is the network setup to allow computers to see the ID?You may need to check if it is set to hide the ID unless it is specifically entered in the 'Other...' menu in the Airport menu.

not that i am an expert at this particular thing.
but when i had my wireless set up here - i believe i used my PC to configure the actual hub/"wireless.server".
what type ov "hub" did you get?
if it is configurable - you may need to set up passwords and set the frequencies to ignore other wirelss devices in your haus - such as cordless phones and remote controls.not a bad idea to set passwords if you have the opportunity - will help you in avoiding "bandwidth pirates" from stooping on your doorstep. :)
