there's a dude here who likes to expand EVERY SINGLE folder he goes to.. instead of just double clicking to open something, he keeeeeps expandingggg..
when the next person is looking for something (usually me), i end up with a window with over 600 items with all the expanded folders and crap.
is there a way to reset these windows or to remove a permission so it wont "stick" when he does this annoying crap?
because asking nicely isn't working....

Hover over his shoulder with a stick like a sadistic piano teacher. Every time he does it, whack his fingers with the stick.
Problem solved. Might improve his piano playing too.

He's like sort of a boss-ish type person, so i can be a dick, but i can't threaten to slash tires or anything.
there has got to be a way to reset folders and make it stick.
even when i go to his computer and collopse the folders, they stay expanded for everyone.

This might be a step in the right direction.

except that we're both running 9.2.2 for the time being..
its been a slow painful migration thanx to certain people who can't program vcr's etc

I don't get it... How does his view actions affect others on the network?

for some reason, when he expands all his folders on our osx fileserver, like the anus that he is, when other people view the server they get everything expanded.. its really annoying.
im hoping its a fixable glitch or something.
yet when i collopse them and close the window, they are expanded again when i reopen the window.. ARG
