any one mess with this beofre i cant seem to connect to any computers they all have the client installed, will apple care cover software issues too?

apple care covers (basic) hardware only.
upgraded will cover like an hour or something of trouble shooting

you have to install the client first and make sure that the versions are both up to date.

What sort of Applecare are you talking about? The 3 year cover gives full support of hardware and Apple software.
