Do you ever listen to music real loud when your working at you computer and notice that the monitor likes the music so much is starts to distrot the display to the beat?

Yes. That is not good for flat front monitors. My Viewsonic manual says "Keep speakers away from monitor."

Same thing happens when some wank with a Nextel phone uses his radio function near my machine.
