Marketing is the evil that men do. Just look at the US Army sponsoring and that Owen Wilson war movie. Hollywood marketing bods pulled out all the stops to promote war mongering when the US went into battle. By the way what is 'USP'?

USP:
Unique Selling Pointtwats!!!!!!

the marketing people at my job spend their entire days walking around the office chitchatting about bullshit on television and notdoing any work. I pity them.
- ian0
They're just assmonkeys.
- ian0
Wait a minute, thats what I try to do all day at work!
- mrdobolina0
but we actually have to show something, ian.
- ian0
True. And I don't have to wear a suit or a rugby jersey.
- mrdobolina0
its funny, because most of the marketing people I meet could have learned everything they know growing up watching television.
- ian0
Thats where I learned most of what I know.
Unrelated but scary, I have very few recollections of my childhood but I can remember cartoons from when I was five. Whats the deal?

Prediction: Marketing will eat itself.

Aha! They said that about pop and looked what happened there.
Actually theres a marketing guy in work who's pretty cool and my bosses who both went to marketing college dropped out.
Exceptions to the rule?

Man, I used to hate dealing with marketing people- Until I fully realized that marketing chicks take really good care of themselves. God bless them.

I will be the ONE to bridge the gap. Now that i have taken a Marketing job (needed job).
I have a Dream that one day the designers and marketers of this world will live in harmony... And eat pudding together.
Oh, all the "chicks" here are Hot.!

"...they all want to touch "bases" too."
ha!
ya know, i learned from an old boss that a great marketing stategy when dealing with customers is to shift paradigms and set the customers expectations... present turn-key eSolutions™ at an enterprise level, integrating business ready out of the box solutions for their corporate infrastructure... yeah..
