please don't say drink, drugs, strippers etc...

dress smart, preferably a suit and get away of your computer.

start dating again. it always helped me. you broke up for a reason. it's probably for the best. let it go.
i dont know.. whenever i broke up with someone i never really had a problem moving on. i cried for like a day.. and then its over.. i get all dressed up and go clubbing.

Toque Boy.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I have no remedy for the broken heart.
Perhaps a night at the ship and anchor, or thhe mercury.
or you could come accross the bow river to kensington and visit us at peapod, have a glass of wine or 20

start an exercise regimen and work ALOT, go out with your friends only when you know there are going to be alot of ladies. best way to not get discouraged about things. try something new, like painting or something else artistic, send all of your energy into activities.

lol...my studio is above the merc... they're one of my clients...and trust me...i've made many a stop there.
peapod? is that the small place in the basement? arty types etc?
- brundlefly0
we are neither, we are two 10 year web vets living in kensington.
I saw the addy on your site, thus my suggestions.
maybe its morgans pub, and some drunken groping on some banger chicks ;-)
- brundlefly0
mrdobilina, you are so correct.
exercize is a great way to feel better, especially for us fat assed computer drivers, we can easily fall into funks from the lack of motion we have in a day, lest having the added emotional baggage of a breakup.

Keep yourself busy.
As other suggested work, friends, and exercise help pass the time.
Time is what really heals.

you're brief on humility is nice.

"your" rather.

Everyone has his heart broken at one time or another. Learn what you can from it. Exercise DOES help, and so does a surrounding yourself with a group of friends. Keep busy. Don't ever be vendictive. Life has a way of slapping you back if you do.

Try going to a class at MRC.
*Lots* of distraction down there. Not that it's helped me any in the last year since I broke up with my girl, but as I said, the distraction keeps my mind of her.

think bout what went wrong. where you might have erred. not her. and then got back out and make the same mistake again and again. its what I do.

i go skateboarding, or work out, or run.
i keep active pretty consistently, and it helps.
endomorphins or whatever they're called, do the trick.

i went to montreal for a week right after it happened...made me miss everything more...bah...

it goes by and makes you a better person right?
