moonlighting resume

    Hi I trying to get some understanding on the how to make a resume. I have a full time job working as a project manager which has nothing to do with design. I would like to moonlight working as a freelance/contact worker but I have never really worked as a designer before. I have a portfolio of school work and websites I've done for free (bad move I know). People keep telling me I should get some paying gigs doing contact work or freelance. What I need to know is should I put in my resume the job I currently have even though it has nothing to do with design.
