3rd installment is very disappointing. And ***spoiler*** death of trinity was way too long and drawn out. It is all a bad rip off the Jeam Paul Sartre philosophy of religion. If you believe then it will happen....boring. I miss the mystery of the first one.

i dunno.. it had it's moments. I liked revolutions better than reloaded, but the first is still the best. At least this one wasn't overloaded on the special effect like two was.

Revolutions wasn't all that bad, this one was better for sure than Reloaded. Funky ending. but i will not spoil it like people do.

i think the plan was to put out two sequels, not only to make money, but to "actually" make the first one seem like it was an acceptable movie when, in fact, I walked out halfway through and declared this entire trilogy VACANT. whoever said this was 'not' science fiction was absolutely correct....it is philosophical like GW's first acid trip....dude, where's my American cinema?

yeah, some corny parts, but still a good hollywood production. More action packed than thought provoking.

i was kinda confused at the ending, it's almost like the "Machine" killed itself. Right? I mean everyone is supposed to be freed now, so what place does that leave the machine?

As mentioned in the first, they couldn't free all the slaves as it would be too large a shock to the system. Now, it's expected that the people of zion will be allowed to live on and procreate without being hunted down and destroyed.
If htey were to ontinue the movie t osolve all issues in stopping war, it would require another 2 hours, which is probably why they just stopped.
Personally, I liked the 3rd one a lot, besides trinity's death scene (drawn out as mentioned before), and how new wave it all got in the end. It seemed to be a cop out.
But the fight scene both in zion as well as between smith and neo were fucking incredible, and incredibly well done. And the machine suit things were sick.

wtf! I just saw the Matrix tonight and I think IT SUCKS BIG TIME! What a hell is happening here. Everything is so stupid and the end is a definite selloff to some 3rd class movie company to make Matrix 4-5-6....Just simply horrible, storywise! Technically, I think that the crew in charge of special effects outdid themselves, but the story..I couldn't believe how bad they did it. Religion all over the place, no connection with the story, some stupid Smith now threatens the Robots and the humans...I mean wtf... Totally without ideas. As the end was coming closer, I thought, damn, now when they killed Trinity he is gonna kick robots' asses, the sky would open and the sun would shine through and everybody would be saved (Corny but it would work much better then this shit!). I truly have no words to describe my dissapointment any further. PHEW PHEW PHEW! I want my money back! (well I didn't wanna ask because the fight scenes were the only ones to keep me somewhat satisfied).

Walking out of Revolutions, I thought I'd just left a David Lynch film.
There won't be any more sequels. I'm really impressed by the brothers' minimal rewrites to the script. It shows that they thought out the religious motifs. I AM disappointed they didn't answer what the Matrix really was, but then they HAD to paint themselves into a corner when they're telling the story of Buddha. I don't think there's a good way to write about losing one's individuality...
