I think the other thread was more of a rant on pricing and the undercutting misfortunes of the design industry... but what really is the going rate for a designer freelancing for web development(given they have a degree in design and have an established portfolio)?

Rough Guideline
Creative Services:$75 per hour
Art Direction:$75 per hour
Web Site Design:$75 per hour
Graphic Design:$60 per hour
Copy writing:$50 per hour
Account Administration:$50 per hour
Labor: $50 per hour
DB Design/Programming:$75 per hour
Programming (Basic):$85 per hour
Programming (Advanced):$95 per hour
Photography: $1,000 per day plus materials
