"head" cheerleader dating the "captain" of the football team..did this happen in your school? i was thinking about it and it's kind of weird.

at my school, the designers were celebrated, not the footballers.
all the commtech playas were the most popular.

not geeks. there was a time my friend, when the teenage world was divided into cool and uncool and the jocks were the uncool. the coolest kids in school were the ones with long hair who didn't give a fuck about gym class. and got all the chicks. there wasn't a computer within 10 miles.

well at my school, the cool kids were the fashionvictims who smoked weed and the uncool kids were the D&D kids. of course i was the coolest of them all, because i did neither but be an artfag drunk off the grey goose. everybody was into sports though.

when I was in my school in NJ, the cool kids were the italian & spanish guidos, who all wore mullets, (including rat-tail mullets), the Joe buttafuco pants (NY giants stamped one was pretty popular), black ascics (wrestling sneakers) or black rebock (classic velcro), white socks overlapping the pants, Oakleys sunglasses (yeah you know the ones, baseball /nascar fans). gold chain, gold earings. ginea-tee with adidas stripe windbreaker. Other accessories included red trans-am, camaro or mustang (NEON LIGHTS ground effects was a particular hit that yea!.) good for cruising by donkin donuts on friday nights and pick up chicks.

Snob, unfortunately no one had an iroc at my school, but some kid had the Z28.
Funny thing is this year I went to my 10 year reunion, and I was surprised how many people listed graphic designer on their profiles, people who never attended any design or art classes and who probably thought at th time that apple macintosh was just a fruit import from japan at the produce isle.
