I set up my mail just like it says on my hosts website and I can now get mail but I can't send anything. Anyone else experience this?

nope.. why not try filling out the "sending" (ex: mailhost.servername.com) host name & password
might do the trick for you :o)

you could also set the outgoing mail details provided by the ISP instead of the host.
That is usually the case.

To stop spamming, which usued to use mail servers as relays. You generally need to be logged into the domain in order to send mail from the mail server.
Which means you may receive mail from a domain, but will generally send it via the mail server of your ISP

or set the 'allow authentication' setting (it's in there somewhere), then you can use the mail server to send. (this way is less hassle if you are connecting thru different ISP's all the time)
