Is it just me, or does this section not like firebird...?

hey there peers.
i figured it out within 1 minute of posting it.
my tab/browser extensions in conjunction with frames weren't working together.
shame on them!

Maybe it has some IE specific javascript. Anyways, it's known to be buggy browser, why use it?

Works fine for me (Win2K). The only thing that different from IE is that the visited links dont change colors until you refresh.
Oh, Im using Firebird 0.7
- Mimio0
Yeah, the tabbed browsing is about the only good feature.

thanks for the positive responses guys...

I've been pretty happy with firebird. It's not as bloated as mozilla, and got some nice features that IE doesn't. And it's never locked up or given me any problems
- sparker0
it has never given me problems, either. on linux or xp, it runs fine. as for newstoday, i've never experienced any errors using firebird on either system.
- niku0
i figured it out.
thanks though.

thats cool, IE never gives me any problems. Although I use a mozilla browser to test shit. I think it is an older one.

So what exactly were the settings you changed? I can't seem to get PV-AN to work in firebird other than viewing the replies.

Since I always do dev for this site on a Linux desktop, Mozilla and variants like Firebird will always work for RELEASE versions of the browsers.
I have seen some weird things from nightly builds of things like Firebird though.

works fine for me on both winXP and linux, firebird 0.7

firebird rocks. I use it all the time.
I hanever had any problems with it. It is faster than other browsers.I have it on winXP Firebird v 0.7

i had the tabbrowser extension turned to open links in a new tab. therefore it wasn't pointing to the right frame, and just killing itself.
if that makes any sense to you..
