Ok just as an example
Neptunes is a trademark
If I would use Neptoons could I get sued and lose?
Probably not if I would make shoes or anything not related to music right!?

well...
the neptunes have a record label called Star Trak. The Star Trek people haven't sued them yet.
- unknown0
I know and I assume that's because Star Trak is music based and Star Trek is movie based

Heres a great idea.
Get some imagination and make up a word or choose one thats not taken.
Your talking as cheap as the people how run "tommies #5" and "big tomies".

my colleage , lutz, he had started out with a new style in the bars here. he called it bat21, only 21s and over. or the age of 21.
my other hobby freind who is the cutter in the cinema, said maybe it could be a copyright problem. but in last august it was the health and safety body that shut bat21 not the copyright ones in the end. the kitchen was hell, to dirty for food
- wendell0
bat21 is being opened again i hear now :)
- wendell0
but it is not bat21 now. now it is bar21

I'm always calm, my words are mad
Now I think about Windows and Lindows
Seems like an old marketing trick that I'm 'bout to use

As long as there isn't someone with the same name in the same TM category, you can call it Neptunes if you want. Look it up online. i forget the URL but you'll find it if you search for 5 seconds.
