its a good car. good power (215hp). too me it looks girlie. BUT it is a benz. a 5spd would have been nice
performance is soso. but i am assuming you are going for sheer looks and on that, the sport coupe has a very distinguished interior good amenities and such.
its a benz. can you go wrong with any of em?

I'm extremely pleased with my brand new Mazda 6. They run about 21K. We paid 16K. Check it out:

If you're gonna buy a car for staus, why get a C class mercedes? The C class just screams to the world "I can't afford a real mercedes so I bought this Chrysler lookalike".
I guess a better question is, why spend 35K on a car when a 15K jetta will get you to work just fine? Are you that label concious?

Style is everything in a car. For me a car has to look good and perform well. I'll worry about fuel efficiency and safety last. I'm just looking for the most 'bang-for-buck' enjoyment I can get. :)

"Style is everything in a car. "
So I guess the answer to my question is, "Yes, I am so label concious that I am willing to spend 20 thousand dollars to make sure I am wearing the right car."
With all due respect, maybe you need to go volunteer for Habitat for Humanity or something and get some perspective.

How about a Second hand lotus esprit? Or a NSX for that matter. Don't bother with a Nissan, how boring! You could get a TVR Griffith or Chrimea. Or you might even be able to track down a Lotus Carlton for that sort of £££. Yes a 2nd hand 911 would be nice, or a 944S

it all depends

Yes, I will pay extra for style. I want a car that is designed well. So when I do volunteer my time for charity, I want to enjoy my ride there! ;)

that's a daft thing to say Chewbacca. Do you wear only the cheapest clothes, or the cheapest shoes, or eat only value beans and bread? If you're a designer you should be pleased that people like paying extra for style because it keeps you in a job.

ah well, to each his own. I moved to Chicago specifically because I could sell my car and use the tranist and bike lanes. I can't relate. Cars are shit.
