my ipod went tits up, they collected it in 3 days and i had a brand new one sent out 4 days after....... cant grumble at that i say!

oh totally adam - I had a mare with mine because the HD was fucked - but now I have it I know it's going to rock - I mean you can't go wrong with a 30gb one - that's my wife and I's entire cd collection right there on one handy disk! you can make party playlists, take it in the car, take it to work....fantastic!

yup I think you may have convinced me mate....at the moment I have 20GB of music on an external HD (Which isn't exactly pocket sized!) So I reckon it's about time to invest...
You say your hard drive fucked up tho? What are the chances of losing all your data once you've filled it up then?

oh no - it fucked up before I could get anything on it!! but if you're using ephod or itunes then you can always put everything back on it if it does fuck up after you have - thought I have not heard of that happening....

ephod was itunes for windows before itunes came out for windows if you know what I mean! for all that is good and holy in the world don't use musicmatch jukebox (comes with PC ipod) - it's shite! thoug now itunes is out for windows they will probably ship the units with that instead....

Its all good, I'm on a mac anyways. I'll let you know how my purchase transpires....and I'll know who to blame if I lose my music collection ;)

I have a mac at work (and PC) but only PC at home - if it were up to me I'd use mac!
