all boombaclot.....but if you ask me, i liked stussy when they rocked the "medieval calligraphy font" back in the 90s....and if you're gonna rock a truckers cap, it better be

It just does.
If you dont think its lame to wear a giant logo across your chest that Kelly osborne is also wearting theres a good chance you dont have self generated style.
Now if you wore it 3 years ago thats a different story.

Errr. I think it's for fashion victims, but why all the hate? How can you tell if the person is "worthy" of wearing it or not. Some of you's opinions are kind of disturbing in a religious zealot way.

he's not a true lo-life if he's wearin lugz

von dutch hats are made pretty nicely. not to be a poser, but the quality is preyyy nice, and some of those hats are made from the same felt-ish material as tennis balls.

Check out theGeneral's link. It will show you the truth behind the real guy. The name has been used for marketing[Profit].

von dutch has a great wordmark...i really dig it. i really could care less is kelly osborne wears it or not. i dont cover myself head-to-toe in it...
besides..i'm a dutchman. any "van" or "von" is a-o-k with me.
- dbloc0
what is the source of this lil tid bit that the rumor mill spit out? theres a link to the GK site but i see nothing on it that supports the claim that Grind King own von dutch. i cant say that i've ever seen anyone related to GK even rockin any von dutch. if i worked for GK i'd sure as hell have some von dutch in my wardrobe. i say urban legend.

but the person starting the thread is someone who starts a fight... on a thread... must have a lot of free periods at college.

If it was cool to you once, its still cool. For me, things dont really go out of style because everyon else thinks there cool. thats some elitist bullshit.
- JazX0
I like his work, it's gritty.
- JamesEngage0
i agree Redmond... too many people on here and in general are too righteous for their own good... sorry to hear you didn't have a girlfriend Jevad ;D

The prob isn't hats or tshirts. It's dorks wearing logos that they know nothing about. (I learned about the So Cal car culture 'cause I dated a hot-rodder for 2 years a long while back)
I hate that someone bought the name of an innovating beatnik who truly shunned pop culture. That's what's sick about it. Marketing isn't bad-marketing someone's life as "image" is.
Before you buy, learn. Von Dutch the man is quite interesting as is his work. The 60's So Cal car culture he was a part of birthed a lot of cool stuff. Von Dutch clothing has nothing to do with that.

This place makes no sense to me sometimes...
Graphic designers against branding, marketing, advertising, fashion, and style?
do you understand how absoultely contradictory that is?
