ask Britney, apparently the silly bint was spending $20,000 a month or a year or something having the finest ripoff coffee shipped to whereever she was on concert..

Give up now.
America knows fuck all about coffee - nearly as much as it knows about tea. I was over there for two weeks and about 4 silly bint waitresses bought me a mug of hot water with a "tea bag" on a saucer.
And I had to actually ASK for milk.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

milk in your tea... now that's just gross!
For some quality coffee, that's easy to find, check out Peet's: http://www.peets.com/
You should be able to find it at most grocery stores, I think. I know it is available in Northern California. Also be sure to buy the whole beans. The pre-ground kind doesn't stay good for long. It's always better if you can find a Peet's cafe to buy from, instead of the grocer.

I've started ordering loose leaf tea on line from http://www.specialteas.com
Pretty impressed with the place, great packaging, instructions for steeping on every package, resealable bags, etc. and small samples of just about everything they offer for $1.

Depending on where you go,
some local coffee shops can order the good stuff from suppliers,Doka (or Kona, which one escapes me), I even had some Jamaican Blue Mountain once.
