Anyone know the best way to create an outter glow around a logo for flash?
Is it possible to do this as a vector?

depending on the shape of your logo, you can use a radial gradient to transparent behind it, or 'soften edges'.
in some cases it works better to create the glow in PS and import it as a PNG.

A question we've been trying to answer all these years.
Unless I'm mistaken -- which is likely -- .PNG has been always superior to .GIF...except on browser support.

hey :)
Depending on the complexity of the logo outline, you could try putting a fairly thick line round it (inkbottle) in white, then converting that to a fill, the softening that fill edge. Seems cool on simpler shapes, but the convert to fill kaks up on tricky corners..

can't you do this in illustrator and drop it into flash?

vector gradients are huge in filesize
