so whats that thing about corel draw. it`s not cool enough or what? how can you say ill or freeh are way better? how can you blindy generalize thing? cdr has absolutely everything you need for vector work. give me constructive explanation why do you (not you renascent-respect)think corel draw is not as good as adobe or macromedia vector software.

- have you used Corel Draw?
- no, I hate that shit
- ok, but have you used it?
- no, but I know it's shit.
it's not the tool that makes you an artist, but how you use it.

Havent used Corel since 7.0 but it had some tools + functions that I still think Adobe should choose to be inspired from ...

unfit is exactly right, all depends on how you sling it and how you work it.

Yeah its all about comfortability and standards. Depending on your industry the people love illy or freehand their top dog, they do it right and thats well known. Not to mention their other software has a continuous interfacing style that is widely accepted as well, making it a comfortable enviroment to work in. I think Corel sold out a lot by making itself very home user oriented and not professional oriented. Thats how I saw them a few years ago at least, I never hear about em anymore, except when I designer tries sending his work in from CDR and we have to tell him how to save it and such.... yup standards...

Atom - isnt Adobe doing the same thing at the moment? Selling out by making PS, AI and to some extent Acrobat more oriented towards the amatuer than the professional? I'm rather disappointed with the last few versions of either program ...

seems kinda indicitave of the entire industry. home/amatuer users thing. 3/4 of the work i see everywhere is complete shit.
