it's quite apparent that the logo on the site is f*ed up.

i don't like tha gradient background. Id keep just one colour.
Text is unreadeable with some backgrounds and there's too heavy anti-alias - maybe use crispier font?
Masking makes the page slow at times. And overall it tends to hang for moments.
But i like the colours although they're not that retro...

I really dig the gradient background! however the table yellow/orange area is disgusting and classhes with the awesome background i would desaturate the yellow/green/orange area into a gray maybe dark gray and also take out the yellow up top in the area with the navigation and tint it to a red also the font on the Logo needs some work and closer spacing.

yeah, track in your logo in flast or whatever, its kinda of a thumb in the eye to people who pick up on that stuff ;)

looking nice but i would use scripted motion, "welcome to bar retro" and "bar retro news" are chugging a little.

In regards to the logo:
The heights of the two R's vary, which is very distracting. Well, to me, anyway.
I like overall, otherwise.
(Okay, minus the gradient bg.)
