haven't ridden them in a few years, i got a set of ride bindings that still have about 2 seasons left in them. my friend bought a burton setup last year and loves it, but i haven't heard the down low on this years line, other than the fact that it looks sick.

What do you reckon to the new designs they've launched? 2x, Speedzone-lacing and Fusion step-in?
2x looks unsafe, wouldn't fancy trusting two screws to hold me down.
Fusion just looks like a stupid idea that went too far, who wants to walk around with half a binding on your foot?
Speedzone is the only one I think will last more than a season or two.
Cool that they're pushing it and coming up with new ideas but I think they're missing the spot with some of them.

yeah, so i had thanksgiving dinner at Jeff Brushie's house and told him that there were a bunch of people that i talked to online that named him as an inspiration in their riding. he said thanx, that it means a lot....and he couldn't believe that there were people who even still know who he is., let alone people that are inspired by him. anyway, he's been riding pipe at mammoth mtn for the last 2 weeks and he'll be juding the X-games in aspen. i saw some videos of him at mammoth...dude can still huck a 720 with ease.

The Syndicate does this, JDK only does the boards and advertising now. The guy that designed this site left over the summer after being there for 5 years.
Since Burton just bought out FourSquare, Geenyus, Fourum, etc it is a real good time to be there. They are also doing all their videos inhouse now.

So you live down in PB, F_18? Does he still have his two dobermans. Cool guy, I brought my friend over to his house a while back. My buddy bought his Acura NSX off of him and we chilled talked and played with his dobermans. Very down to earth guy and if its the same pad, his place is pretty dope too.
BTW. How much are the "buy-ins" I live up in Del Mar, maybe stop by for a game or two.

yeah Nic... Burton bought our snowbrands back in August... Forum, Jeenyus, Foursqaure and Special Blend.
I just want to clarify tho... people think its all the same people that do the Burton shit who are now doing the new brands but its not. Burton set up a new division called The Program http://www.theprogram.com/ and its all the old FSD people who are running it under Burton. They have their own internal design set-up going there.... basically the only thing Burton running it is Jake's cash.

I really respect Jake for everything he had done and continues to do...but, and I may get flamed to shit for this...Burton are becoming a bit of a oke to me. I was browsing their stuff yesterday and $70 for a fucking burton hoodie? Come on...thats crazy talk....I love the stuff they do...but they seem to think they can charge what they want for their stuff...which in reality, isn;t that much better than the lower priced goods.

yeah, he's got the same pad. real sick place, you can see the whole skyline from his front balcony. those 2 dobermans (ruby and ronin) are fucking huge now...but his choc. lab lucy is real sick w/ some sort of brain condition. we don't usually do a crazy buy in...anywhere from 25 to 75 bucks. but we do usually end up getting hammered. we got Jeff's ass so stoned on thanksgiving....now THAT was some funny shit.
