I don't know much about this guy but I know he came up with a lot of good one- or two-liners. How did all his quotes become so famous? Did he write them all down in a quote greatest hits book? Did he tag them on random walls?
I know he's a doctor and a writer and all but where did all these quotes come from? Fill me in please.

They were all in his weblog

'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.'
very similar to a favourite of mine [don't if it's related to him]:
'you can take the boy out of the gutter but you can't quite take the gutter out of the boy'

Needless to say, it isn't the most happening place.

I visited his grave in Paris. If a woman rubs the statue's genitals (or what's left of them), or gives the statue a kiss, it's said that she will marry within the year.

That's weird considering Oscar Wilde was gay.
