how do you make email links work inside pdfs?

depends on what app you are doing it..
Indesign should be able to do it as well..
insert hyperlink and instead of ''http: // whateverdomain.com'' you insert ''mailto:'you@whateverdomain.com...

the problem with mailto: is it calls open the default browser and then it calls the default email program. At least on OSX it does that.
I was hoping there was a way to do it in Javascript. I looked on the web for a script, but couldn't find one.
