hi guys
look, some days ago i contacted ipowerweb to buy a domain and a hosting service. yes, they have a good offer....
well, after i sended the formular (via web) with my whole data (bank, personal......) i received one mail. there i was told to wait 24 hours til the activation....24 hours later i received another mail. this time i was told to tell them when can they call me in order to confirmate the activation account.
some hours later they sended me another mail to tell me i have to send them a copy of the credit card via fax. or a check.
is this normal? i mean, the whole activation process is taking almost three (yes i live in germany and they live in usa-west-coast) days. and every mail i receive comes with a surprise. mmmmhh.... i already gave them the number and the data when i wrote the formulat, but now they want a copy. seems like a joke to me.
i have already used hosting services in my homecountry and it was always fast. just the formular and thats it.
on the other side i have no experience in contracting foreigner services.....
what do you think guys? should i go on? or should i look for a more serious service?
