Since it's logo critique day.
not many to choose from at the moment (rush job)
for a new fitness training studio.
specializing in core training.
demo = 70% female, 25 -40ish professional types.
the color treatments are up for discussion.
thanks.

ohh, really tuff one. To be honest, I don't like the fonts on either of them however, the illustrations are both very nice.
But I'd go with the first one because the second symbol is too darned big.. :)

#1 is looking really good - i like the type but it doesnt say 70% female - the mark is right on - good work

i like the symbol for 1, and i like the idea behind it, gives the name a unique personality, but the type doesnt compliment it. conflicting styles. try a type that isnt so heavy. maybe a sans serif... type not to put it with a modern technology type font.
i dont care much for the second.

n.1 but you should try more variations with the type, I wouldn't do a bold typo for a fitness company.

I didnt read that it was mostly middle aged women..
i would sugest making the body in the flame more thin, esspecially the shoulders. this should embody their goals.
i think the maroon color sucks the life out of the vibrant flame colors. i would also try to get the colors a bit softer. still flame like, but more on the pastel end.

likin' the top illustration... but I agree with the others... maybe you should look into some more font choices... good work though!

thanks for the input! I have made some adjustments accordingly.
I'm not feeling the green. but the pastel idea was a good one thanks again!

link, sorry.

I like the gradient in number one the type of number 2 but i think the color could use some work and i would maybe take out the butt on the woman just to stylize it a little more.

I'm not to sure about the type but the logo should flow like in the 4th example. The other ones seem to go against the grain.

flip the logo (nr 4) - then the figure is more dynamic - when you read the logo from left to right.
- grafiske0
I like 4.1, in the others the B and the logo don't go together that well (in my eyes).
I think the colors are fantastic.

top one but make the type thinner and a bit more curvy on the corners so its less dominating.

#4
- ER0
4.1 for sure. but i would at least double the breathing room between the symbol and the text. you might want to consider making the symbol a bit smaller.
good job.
- ER0
4.1 - also sugest put more tracking space between some of the letters (mostly the "C" since it is unique and hard to see as a "C" if it is too close to the "o")
- AssassinAve0
The colors are definitely feminine. So it won't be mistaken for Golds Gym anytime soon.
Should let that type breath a bit more around the figure on all of them.
I think #4 is a good solution overall.

on a side note blueless...dont take offense, im just trying to be helpfull, but if you are trying to get commercial work from your site i dont think its a good idea to put your belief/religion on your site. that stuff could scare potential employers.
businesses need to be very pc, and they are in an awkward spot if they dont maintain anonimity on that subject.
