never been into logodesign but this client asks me for a new logo.
estelle is an application for online mobile messaging.
estelle also means star and is supposed to be feminin.
your thoughts..

like it, not sure if it says mobile comms and maybe try some dif colour combos green/purple but I like those retro autumn colours you have there.

i don't like the font in 5 and 6, i like the font and the way "e"s are tilted, but i think i like the overall design of the first one, since it looks most feminie and i can imagine it on a cell phone screen

For a first attemps on logodesign: Not bad at all. Is it really an online mobile system only for girls? Otherwise I dont see the point in making the logo particulary femine ...

It always helps be to start out working in straight black and white (no greys), and in this case you might want to consider it as a criteria, since it might be displayed that way much of the time.
Just a thought.

macromedia logo : almost similar colors to the shockwave logo. nothing similar to the form.
ellesse : don't see resemblance except for the fact they both use the letters 'e' 'l' 's' alot.
