Does anybody know if there is a way to find info off someone just by having an email address? Please, please help.

email them and ask them where they live.

forgot to mention the spamcop thing wont give physical details about them but it traces the email back to original sending ISP's and shit like that. might help.

maybe you can try googling it, and you might come up with his info panels on msgboards, then.. then.. you can find stuff.

if you have his e-mail address and you want to contact him - can't you e-mail him?????
If you're worried about using your e-mail address just ask someone else to e-mail him with some fake request - like me for example! :)

I have been emailing him, no response. Others have tried too, the same, no response. I was hoping to find a phone number or another email. I think he doesn't use this email any more, I mean, I can't even get his name.

send me an e-mail with his e-mail address and I'll see if I can trace it.
My web host has a trace e-mail feature, maybe it will work.

why don't you just do a lookup on their domain of the email?

Email headers can be faked, forged, redirected, and munged.
If the sender doesnt want you to trace them you wont. The best you can do is to find the upstream ISP. And even then it might just be a zombie machine.
In short ... no you cant find the sender if they did it correctly.
