Anyone know any good (and cheap) hotels to stay in?

Last February I stayed at the Prima Lepic in Montmartre for 6 days/5 nights.
It was part of a package with the web site http://www.francevacations.net
Have a look there, I do remember their rates being pretty cheap, listed at the front desk. A really nice place, are you going by yourself or with someone else?

There's the direct site. 90 euro for a single person and 110 euro for two people.
Doesn't seem that expensive, but not sure what you're looking for.
Montmartre is a great part of the city, my girlfriend and I loved it, the whole trip was the best time of my life. People in Montmartre will tell you they live in Montmartre, and not Paris-it's very old-world to a point and not as busy.
Conicidently, it's on the same street as the cafe in Amelie.

Hotel de Nesle
$55/night peak season...block off the Siene, walking distance to tourist attractions, in the middle of everything
Its family run.

wow, pushme, that hotel is insane!
I love anything that makes me feel like I'm sleeping in a museum or weird movie.

there's a great, real cheap place across from the hostile. It's got french bay windows that open until the terra cotta chimney pipes and rooftops for miles in montmarte (moulin rouge territory). simply beautiful. elevator and cheap continental breakfast too.
Then again, the hostile is nice too.

Yeah, we got really lucky. Just happened to run across it. I've recommended it multiple times...so far all are equally impressed.

I dug this place because of the pedestrian street, Rue Cler, that it's on. It's pretty close to the Eiffel Tower. Not in the "fun" part of Paris but a nice slice of Paris nonetheless..
