i broke off a 3 yr relationship a year ago... it hurt like hell... still feel a sting or two every now and then.
everyone's right, don't stay friends, don't think about her - do whatever you can to keep your mind off her. get out more, don't be by yourself, work out more... all good advice!

you'll never forget her tho, but you'll learn to live without her. i broke up from an 8 year relationship 2 years ago, shes married now, i still think of her but it does get alot easier.
