Photo Credit Question

  Opinions requested:

  Do you think it's kosher for a photographer to mention the magazines his stock photos have been used (in an ad or other piece) as a sort of "Work Featured In..." section of a bio?

  Like if someone used a photo of mine in an ad in Print magazine, would it be cool of me to say my work was featured in Print magazine?

  And if so, do you think most photographers do that? Or are those references purely for articles ABOUT the photographer, or something similar?

  You think it should be mentioned AS someone else's design using my photograph? Is it misleading at all to not mention that it was used as stock photography?

  Well you would say "photography used in print campaigns for company x, and shown in magaines a,b,c" etc .. wouldnt you?
