I think it is the strikethrough that is giving you the problem... hmmm...
a visited link gets the stikethrough... and once the visited link is rolled over (the same rollover as non-visted links) it acts as though it becomes a smaller font and resizes the table... or however you have em set up... weird... can ya remove the visited state for a test maybe?... no strikethrough?

I add a bg color on rollover, but the size of the font should be the same.

is the change in size over the rollover supposed to be a decent change in size?

hmmm... about the first website link...
when you rollover an already visited link (the text links)... the rollover attributes force all the links in that column to shift upwards on the rollover...
don't know if that if done on purpose or not
