1bit bmp photoshop?

So I give up....how the hell can I make a 1 bit bmp file in photoshop? I'm using p7 on a mac. The image only has 2 colors. White and blue.
Any ideas?

1 bit images can only be black and white - if you want a color you're going to have to go with 8bit.
Photoshop>IMAGE>MODE>BITMAP - save as BMP.

I presume you're gonna use the bitmap image in another app like Quark, right? Then you just replace the black w/ blue in there ....

i'm going to use it on a LCD device. so replacing a color is no problem, however i still can't get this to work.
i make an image in photoshop. using only b+w then i index the colors (to 2) and save as a bmp. I don't have the option for 1 bit. only 4. you guys can do it? what's the trick?
