yo, some Dutch person (i believe a female journalist?) participated with this as some sort of undercover research..
She went very far, they sent real letters, even phonecalls..then, before she got the promised giant amount of money, she had to 'test' the transaction route she had to transfer

..she had to test it by sending some ten grand that way, 'also to make sure her details are correct and to prove the route was safe for large amounts..
so I believe a few grand was sent that way..
and guess what?
it never returned!
the guys were gone all of a sudden.

a lot of these Nigerian scam mails originate from an Amsterdam based gang of organized criminals.
