I'm drawing up my first contract and I'm charging the company a specific price rather than charging by an hourly rate.
How much would I charge for website maintence? I know this figure probably varies, but is it done by an hourly rate?
How much is generally charged, if any, for updating small changse to the text and maybe some graphical updates?

I'd say give em a block of hours per month (depending on their needs) for a little less than your normal hourly rate. Then charge your normal rate for every hour beyond that initial block.
