I can't seem to export my InDesign work to Illustrator.
When i try and open the PDF or EPS in Illustrator i get a message saying not all the objects can be transformed and it leaves me with a white box.
Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?
Please help. PPlllleeeaaassseee.

Do you have any linked objects in you indesign file?
And, Why would you want to import a inDesign fine in Illy, it's usually the other way around. just curious, not mocking (yet).
Let me know.

nope, no linked images. It's white out text on black blocks. Dead simple. It's arranged quite specifically i can't be arsed to remake it in Illi. The reason i need to export it is because I use iNdESIGN FOR THE MAGAZINE ADS ETC.. BUT BILLBOARDS NEED TO BE SUPPLIED AS eps'S SO THE PRINTERS CAN SET UP THEIR KNOCKOUTS ETC. Bollocks sorry for the caps. The billboard printer doesn't use InDesign.

If you wanna send me the file I'll take a look at it. If not, try copy/paste into Illy.
CAPS ARE UNDERRATED!

Cant you just open your PDF from Indy in Acrobat and save as EPS there?

could be a version issue or could be where you are not exporting everything.

File -> Export -> EPS

To my knowledge, it's not possible to export that way. InDesign -> Illustrator. InDesign will create an EPS, but that does not mean that the EPS will be editable in Illustrator. But if you find a way, I'll be curious to know how.
