Personally I stick with my MD.
Great to use everywhere, and awesome when put toghether with these http://www.minidiscaccess.com/it… on a concert, yeah.
And then upload it to my computer, burn a cd, and listen to that concert as many times I want, no need for passwords.

I do like the ads and the spot.
I would choose some other music personally..
but just as a matter of personal taste. That song is probably there as a result of a huge marketing study, to reach a specific kind of audience.

it's just a music player right?
Not a portable HD, or address book, or calendar equiped with an alarm.
Can you actually carry really big files from home to work with one?

it is actually a good way to carry your files as a hardrive. I use it at work to transfer files between computers not connected to the network.

that's impossible to do with an iPod.

I have a 20 gig ipod that I use as a hard drive all the time. That thing is great.
