For those that are looking for new solid clients I have a suggestion: The US Govt.
Their evil and vile and they steal your taxes, but as a client they pay well and always have work to be done.
The process of application and contract procurement can take 6 months to 2 years ... but if you can wait it out it is worth it. Steady work is hard to come by for some so I thought I would share. Govt work alone keeps 2 of my people working 40 hours a week with a projected timeline of 6 months. Do the math. Good luck.

How'd you do it?

Contracts with the military seem to be hard to get. Don't you have to be on the GSA schedule or something?
Although I know there are gov't organizations that contract out to freelancers.

You can get your own GSA or you can go around this by using someone elses GSA and then they may take a percentage. The second method is legal. You can get guidance about getting your own GSA from the govt branch your interested in working with. They all have a division for helping companies get through the process.
