i got rid of my desktop g4 and bought an ibook. Even though its a G3 900 I whacked up the RAM to 640Mb and it runs everything perfectly..all design progs, heavy gaming and the like

if you are looking to get a pc, i'd recommend dell. they are economical and don't sport that trashy late-ninties design like most compaqs/hp's do. (not all of them anyway). they are powerfull and can be purchased with some really nice video cards for playing CS or quake or whatever... just my opinion.

friend of mine has a 15" and it rocks pretty well on most everything. he dosen't do 3d or video, but for indesign, photoshop, dreamweaver, etc.. it's a pretty good desktop replacement

I have been thinking about replacing my old desktop computer with a new notebook. Any good suggestions on a good notebook that can handle all the design apps? oh yah, and a little counter strike too maybe??
