hello
i got a problem
on sunday i was surfing internet, when suddenly my pc shut down
and restarted. (it was turned on for like 12 hours)
Then on monday night i had if turned for about 3 hours and started
to be a little slower....and then it restarted again.
theeen the same day i just log in, and try to open freehand, and once again
it restarted.
but this time appear a blue screen with a text like this:
"a problem as found and windows has been shut down for avoiding damage"
so i try to reinstall windows, but it also restart when im trying to.....
any ideas?thank u very much.

mine did that. i had to reinstall.
:(
but maybe it could have something to do w/ the computer not having enough space to process what you were workign on. try doing the disk clean-up wizard followed by a defrag.
g'luck

Check your swap file size ... if it is too small then Win will shut down sporadically.
Run checkdisk ... defrag ... and virus scan to be safe.

spontaneous restarts are usually a memory issue.
I built a machine that kept restarting when I tried to install XP. Ends up the mobo didn't like my brand of memory.
