it's costing a ton, you can count on that and the politicians were the ones tossing out the contracts too.

"It's certainly making the country look like some kind of bad joke to the rest of the world."
...but it sure put my minds off of that whole "let's liberate Iraq" showdown. See now I'm entertained!

""people should expect that when they criticize others without even doing them the courtesy of trying to fathom what was said."
I can't fathom what you just said. "
...but hey, you weren't being critical, now, were you? Plus, saying that you "can't" fathom it means you at least did me the courtesy of trying, so had you been critical, I wouldn't have minded.

no, people are allowed to speak their minds. it is when insults start flying as to how smart/stupid people are that it gets dumbed down.

this thread wasn't really altogether that hot to begin with, if you think about it.
weren't you the slightest bit insulted when someone started it, assuming we'd all read it and go along with whatever he said?
- mrdobolina0
this thread has deteriorated a lot.

what i wrote:
"you're not going to change someone's political views with a militant-sounding post on a message board."
again, i really have to suggest maybe some courses in reading comprehension for some of you.
1. I didn't call you (or anyone) "militant".
2. I was referring to "political views", which, if you'd care to look, are the exact two words that i wrote. not "exercising one's right to vote". different story completely.
3. You spelled "Rumsfeld" wrong.
4. I wasn't bitching, I'm actually the only one here NOT bitching. I'm maintaining that no matter what happens, everything will be fine.I can see how such clearly-written posts on my part can get confusing; I'll try to be even clearer in the future. Maybe I'll use pictures, or like a pop-up book, or something.

if asking people to use their right to vote sounds "militant" call me Donald Rummsfield.
Sure,Shrub was elected, with one of the lowest voter turnouts ever.
Just don't bitch if you don't vote.
