Maybe Helvetica Neue 55,
I like the modern and clean form of Helvetica, but that is the Swiss trapped inside me.

rad ill give it a try. any comments about the layout?

clarendon light would be nice too.

I like the way it unfolds, it is smooth quite organic (to not sound to pretencious)
But what I thought is treat this experience this like it is a physical exhibition space or gallery, treat the support information & typography how it would appear in an actual gallery clear, easy to navigate not fighting for attention with the work. (but i don't want to tell you what you already know, just explaining the typeface choice in what looks like far to many words)
just think neutral not impeeding, Helvetica can achieve this
