I'm looking for the best bitmap font for flash. I know there are a shitload out there. Has anyone seen any good clear non bold free ones that look got a 12pt?

miniml doesn't have any free ones. right?

they do, you have to hun them on there. Fonts For Flash does and so does http://www.superlooper.de

superlooper fonts are too stylized and I tried to download one of the free ones at fonts4flash and it looks like shit in flash even at the reccomended size. any other sites? It is for a coporate site, so it has to look like a basic sans font with upper and lower.

there are tons of Bitmap/Pixel threads in this area, just search em' out. There are soooooooo many out there that look ok in 12.

I was going to mention 04, but I am not sure they have so many big ones.

i can't believe you haven't found anything on Dafont. You're not looking hard enough...there are more BM fonts in there than you can count!

I dont know...didnt check...
...actually 12pt is not that small
and 04 are more specific for real small ones...but i think their fonts work good from like 6pt to 18 or 20pt...

i'm not sure about where the best bitmap fonts are. but here's my quick tip for the day:
if your ever creating small type as graphics, be sure to turn anti-aliasinng off. makes everything more contrasty.

We ended up just buying one from fonts4flash. It worked out ok.
