Man this is really buggin me. I've recently started working on a computer running XP. Whenever I want to select multiple files I would normally click the first file, hold shift and then click the last file..... simple enough....
Is there a way to change the time when you can hold shift?
I asking because when i do this quickly it doesn't work.... when i hold wait a whole second then hold shift and select it works... I work fast and need to be able to do this at a decent speed.
It happens in Illustrator, Photoshop etc, and as you can imagine it's even more annoying when you're trying to use these types of apps.
please help... thanks.

that isn't a windows xp problem my friend. thats a your machine problem. i've been using xp for two years and i've never, even experienced that issue.
i'd think about the usual - defrag your disk, re-install your os, download a service pack, etc, etc, etc
good luck

Ensure you've got oodles of memory - my old pc initially only had 128mb and did weird shit as you describe. If it's not down to that... re-install.
