You obviously haven't read anything I've written. The Roman Catholic Church did cover up for child molestors. It was an organization wide policy to relocate offenders and council the families of the victims to not press charges. So far there are over 150 cases in the US alone that are being investigated. I'm sorry that you interpret my criticism as being an unfair generalization. I didn't say ALL preists were molestors either. I did said that the RCC is liable for not protecting it's members that it claims to love. Would you leave your kids in the stewardship of an organization that protects child molestors from the law? I would hope you wouldn't.

Mimio... one time i heard that a designer was arrested because he molested a kid. all designers are crap now. i will never talk to a designer again. to think that designers are all child molesters. i can't take it.
ohhh, that logic sucks doesn't it? that's right.

found the exact quote:
Bob Pittman, MTV's chairman:
"We don't just shoot for 14yearolds; we own them."

You fucking gospel thugs

Nobody was praising MTV or lude behaviour. We were criticizing a cults motives when reaching out to teenagers. The same people they failed to protect.

only in america can we crit people for helping people and praise people for acting like whores and thungs on MTV.

Being a pagan is where the party's at!

Christianity has always marketed itself. Organized religion requires lots of money.
Kpl, if you were referring to my previous comment, just let me say that institutionalized pedophelia is no joke. They forseeably could have protected hundreds of children, but they chose not to.

ouch. low blow.
- monty0
It's sad how Christianity now has to market themself as being "cool & hip" to attract followers.. Cristian rock, Chistian rap, wtf?
- Mimio0
Lifeteen (very obviously) is a catholic propaganda site. If the RCC cared so much about teenagers perhaps they wouldn't protect pedophiles. If another less known cult did such things they would be turned inside out by now.

and i just took a look at that life teen site - http://www.lifeteen.com
it's pretty cool. what a great way for kids to talk about what is really on their minds. AND a great alternative to the other main influence in their lives MTV. If you want to talk about forcing beliefs, i'd look at MTV before i looked at supafly. MTV CEO says "we don't market to teens, we OWN them!"
I'd rather have my kids on the life teen site, than on the MTV site.

pugdawg, "forcing his religion on everyone"?
if i said, "hey i just took this meditation class and it really helped my life. you should come to the next one." would you be all in my face about "HEY DON'T FORCE YOUR BELIEFS ON ME DUDE!" ?
there's no gun to anyone's head... and even with a gun to my head, i still am not forced to believe anything by another person.

christians are graffiti vandals now?
- pugdawg0
I think anyone who uses their own face in their design is a tool.
Oh yeah and the forcing of his religeon on everyone he comes across is pretty enduring as well.
