I trying to build a really simple page with a black bar along the very bottom. Any thoughts as to how to do this? Here's a look at what I mean http://www.inseptember.com/test/…
It works when I refresh the page, but leaves white space at the bottom when I 1st hit it.
Insite on how to make this work on Macs and PCs wuold be very welcome?

works for me
what browser are you using? IE6 often does that with 100% width/height tables

you need to look into frames.
it's pretty easy stuff:

I really don't want to use frames ... I thought this would be easy enough. I am using IE 6 - I knew there were some bugs with using 100% width and height table values, but for some reason thought it might work if I kept things really basic.

there's a simple CSS attribute -> bottom: 0px; position: aboloute;
like this:
----------------
[html]
[head][/head]
[body]here is something
[br][br]
here is something else
[br][br][div style="width: 100%;
text-align: center;
position: absolute;
bottom: 0px;
padding:10px;
color: white;
background-color: black;"]I'm at the bottom
[/div]
[/body]
[/html]

Thanks davetufts - that's exactly what I was looking for.
