http://powerofdesign.aiga.org/haven't I heard all of this in the late 90s in Emigre? So all these older designers went into teaching and now they must promote their inferiority complex?
Point #1: If I bid every job with recycled paper and soy inks I would loose every job cause of price.
Point #2: It would make sense if more people used the web for delivering marketing etc. It doesnt kill trees. But wait, a few years ago the AIGA said there wasnt one good website in the world to put in their annual publication. I think that it had 1000 pages of paper in it.
Point#3: If I am the common Joe looking at this, I see that even though designers work in cubes, they are better than everyone else, especially the boss, represented by the monkey. So, how am i to feel if i am a ceo and i am sending my creative director i already dont get along with to an obviosly anti-WTO meeting.
